An Activity for the Exchange of goods and services for money can be referred to as a business. For any economic activity to make gains there’s need to invest in it. Businesses can be privately owned, non-profit or state-owned.
“What do you want to be when you grow up?” this is one of the questions that pop-up in most children and adults most of the adults find themselves unmotivated and hate their jobs while others find themselves engaged. Greg Lindberg, is an American business executive who owns several companies and a graduate of Yale University where he earned an honorary Degree in Economics in 1993. He founded Eli Magazine while a freshman at Yale and without aid he skyrocketed the company to 5 million dollars in revenue. He started out in sales, marketing and changed his profession to an assistant director in the non-profit sector and later becoming a CEO of a regional telecommunications company. Throughout his hustles, he gained new experiences and learned new skills. Listening is one of the attributes he learned that molded him to be a CEO. His company invests in companies across the Globe, primarily in North America, Europe, and Asia with Earnings before Interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization of that shaped him to become a CEO was the more than $300k. In general, everyone knows that the CEO is the boss, but few may know what the job entails on a day-to-day basis. In truth, Greg Lindberg says, the role will differ depending on the size of the business, the personality of the CEO, and the type of industry the business is in.
There are some common aspects of the job that most CEOs will have to deal with to be successful. The leading person in a business organization is the chief executive officer. The business organization blueprint is usually implemented by the chief executive officer. The board of directors is the one charged with the role of supervising the chief executive officer in his role of implementing the strategic plan. The governor of a business agency is required to receive and act upon the reports of the chief executive officer. Sometimes it might be tricky in cases whereby the chief executive officer is the owner and the founder of the business company since there might be no oversight body or persons. The goal of any CEO will be to create goals and a strategic initiative for the organization and oversee the progress of those goals.
He or she may participate in civic and professional association events representing the organization, and he or she may also engage with the media to respond to organizational and industry news. Starting a business before beginning tertiary education could be a good idea. In no time, with perseverance and hard work, they also find a job they love.
